Hey all Been riding 42 yrs since I was 6 yrs old. In younger days raced Moto Cross. Have ridden everything from mini bikes to zx-10s. Have a couple hobbies that usually involve Bikes or cars other than the kids. Owned a 87 750 interceptor I bought new. sold it 5 yrs ago with 55,000 miles on it. Bought a couple cruisers ( 07 750 Shadow Aero and a 06 VTX 1300C) thinking it was time to get away from the sport bikes but that didnt last long so I decided to get myself another sport bike .I rode the CBR 1000 and 600, GSXR, ZX-10, FJR and the VFR 800. The VFR just grabed my soul so here I am back on what I began with . Its a very universal bike that can do just about anything. I got the anniversary edition because of the paint scheme, it took me back in time lol. Ive own quite a few bikes over the years but the old 87 just couldnt be beat and Im hoping the 07 will be the same. So far Ive put 3500 miles on it with one 800 mile trip 400 miles in one day and felt great after the day was over. My wife rides a 06 250 virago soon to move up to the 750 Aero. Heres Pics of my street bikes.

Where in Central Ks? I used to live near Clay Center, worked in Salina, went to school in Concordia, and the oldest daughter is currently in Manhattan going to K State

280 acres would be heaven. My neighbor has 80 along the river. We find some nice trails to ride there.

I miss it. It is still there and still mine, but I never get back there.
Most of it is leased out to farmers.

Welcome to the Forum Michael! I lived in Valley Center until I was 3, then moved to Lindsborg the El Dorado for a few years, and now I'm going to school at K-State living in Manhattan!

Drewl, If you don't mind me asking, what Major is your daughter?
