Good day all. I just purchased a new to me 1992 750F with only 9k. I am currently having it gone over top to bottom as it has been sitting more than it has been ridden. New rubber, fluids a must, however any suggestions as to what else may appear in short order after I hit the road? Basically a novice rider. I've had my license for 24 years but have never owned a bike. Any advice from now fellow VFR owners would be greatly appreciated.

Hi waterboss and welcome to VFRWorld. You picked a good reliable bike (as VFR's are known for that). I am sure you will enjoy it. It may take some getting used to. I moved from an 86 Yamaha Rdian to a 93 VFR 750 and I thouhght the steering felt heavy at first. But the more I ride it the more I get used to it.

I know other members as will as myself, might like to know where you are from. I am in Kentucky and I have absolutely no one to ride with, lol. But when I do ride, I enjoy it no matter what.
