new to me 98 VFR

    I am picking up my new to me 98 VFR 800 in a few nights......very excited!!! 2nd one I 've owned....WANTED ..TALL WINDSCREEN... some detail on the new ride...23k miles, mature knowledgable seller...Full Erion racing exhaust..new battery, kn commander box, speed healer..2 teeth more on the rear, 520 chain....in great shape, though needs 2 new tires....perhaps battlax bt023'S??? not sure which tires are going on yet???....also WTB heli bars....!!! I'm in north Tampa...

    Welcome aboard. Is this the 2nd 5th gen you have owned? The reason I ask is that apparently (I could be wrong) the 5th gen had slightly higher bars to begin with, so if you are remembering the ergo's from an older model you might be pleasantly surprised. Just a thought, ride safe.
