    Hey what's up everyone,

I'm pretty excited to finally be here. I started road riding about a year ago on a 1993 Honda Nighthawk 250 that I actually still have. I took the MSF, got to know the 250 as best I could (still commute on it, and it's fun) and started looking for a solid sport touring machine to take me farther, more comfortably.

Last Sunday I finally got a lucky break and picked up a clean '94 VFR 750F. This bike is great in every way. However, I'm on the shorter side (5'5") and have only ridden it a couple times with some pain at my wrists. I'm wondering if this is just me adjusting to a new riding style now, or if I should correct it? I contacted Heli, and they discontinued their bars! WTH.

Anyway, the bike has maintenance records spanning all the way back to the original owner's bill of sale (I'm the 3rd owner).

I'll try to post pics as soon as I get the chance as this is certainly one of my favorite looking machines.

I hope to learn all I can about this great bike from this community!

    Howdy.

Gonna take a little time to get used to a new riding position. Support yourself a little more with your core muscles to take some weight off your wrists and try to stay loose and relaxed as possible.

Here she is, but of course the pictures never do the bikes justice, as you all may know. Perfectly stock.

I'm even shorter but without real footing problems. A Hawk fits me far better, like it's exactly designed as sportbike without plastic, capable of aggressive riding, much less weight and height. Sometimes longer legs are useful, l but i can manage my '97 without trepidation after miles of practice.

The biggest problem might be putting a foot down into a slope that's lower than the wheels, and you need to be alert.
