I have over the past six months brought a non running 1984 VF700F back to life after 5 years of neglect. I have always repaired the cars I drove so I figured it would be no big deal to get this bike running. Yeah Right......so I have rebuilt pretty much everything but the motor and the rear shock. The carbs were the most stubborn. E bay has been a great resource for parts. As far as repair tips the SAB MAG site, Daugherty Motor sports, Ratman from adventure rider, and you tube have got me through some of the more technical stuff. Thank you for making this information readily available to me on the internet!

    +1 on getting her running!

Also +1 on the SabMag info, and 'Ratman' is one of SabMag's really good resources when it comes to troubleshooting these bikes. For anyone who knows Pete, there's no explanation needed. He rides a V65 Sabre, and tows his dual-sport bike with it!
