Hoo fu-----ing ra!!!! Got the new tire vibration problems solved today. To appreciate this thread you really need to find and read New Tire Woes and Still New Tire Woes. For those of you that have followed and responded to those threads - THANK YOU - I took both wheels to a little Suzuki shop in the town where I work and had them to rebalance the wheels just one more time before I took the bike to Honda and let them have it, I had almost given up. Keep in mind I've been taking the bike to the big Honda shop for wheel balance and have had nothing but problems, couldn't get the tires to balance. The Honda shop has this sophisticated balancing machine with a digital read out and all. The little Suzuki shop has a cross bar and some roller bearings and balance the tires by hand! Low and behold, it was just tire balance after all! The small shop using stick on weights got it right. I took the bike out afterwards and it ran like it was on rails! In fact I pushed it all the way up to 150mph!!! I'm calling the Honda shop tomorrow and tell them they need to calibrate both the balancer and operator! I'll close for now, I could go on but I've said enuff, you get the picture.

All good information and glad to hear your problem was finally resolved.

Technology is not always better. It just makes some people lazy and they rely on the technology to do the work. Sometimes, you just can't beat the old human hand touch to solve the problem. Good to know we're not obsolete yet.

Some times the little mom & pops shops are best.

Exactly! I would definitely ask for it back. They did NOT solve your problem.

I was following this thread and was itching to see what it was. Thanks for following up.

I guess it's just another example of the simplest approach to is usually the best...

High tech machine and low tech operator? I still balance my own tires by hand. Never had a problem in the last 30+ years. Saved some money too.

I wonder how many people they impressed with that high tech $$$ machine? Oooohhhh that's the only way to balance.:bs:

Glad you got it figured out. Feels good, don't it?
