Howdy people. I took the MSF training course last week. 1 week and lots of craigslist lurking later, I got myself a 1986 VFR750 interceptor for $1100! It was too good to turn down. In great running condition and impeccable maintenance records. I must admit that as a new rider I find this bike pretty intimidating. My plan was to originally get a cruiser, maybe a magna v700, but this deal was just too damn good to pass up and I'm a poor student. I don't regret my decision at all. This bike is a beast and I'm having a ton of fun on it. Anyway, I figure I will need to learn quite a bit about this bike so I can keep maintaining and taking care of it. So here I am!
:welcome: to the nuts house Good job by posting the picture, yes you are getting a great bike and most important thing is you are in the right place for any advise. Not from me for sure ound: Have fun and be safe ATGATT keep the rubber side down.
Looks groovey doode. Nice catch. Don't get really hung up on the power of this thing just because you are a new rider. The very first bike I ever rode in my life, was my present 800A. So long as you take the proper courses. take the time to get used to the bike, and understand there is a lot of power behind that twist of the throttle, you will be fine. But like Long said ATGATT.
