Picked up a '98, all stock with only 1,300 miles on it last week. The bike just sat in the previous owner's garage for years.
I've done a bit over 200 miles and so far so good. I am coming off a 2000 sprint st (last year) so I can't help but compare the two. The VFR is certainly more sporty than the sprint. It handles better, feels tighter, etc. But it feels a bit smaller and the gearing is a bit more clunky in heavy traffic, at least for me. Anyone else esperience the same from the vFR?
Regardless, great bike and this seems like apretty good forum as well.

    Hi Ericp welcome.

If you haven't already done so, change the oil and filter. The oil has a great effect on the gear change. I started using the Honda brand oil, and really noticed a big improvement.

    welcome.
a wise choice. a great bike.

I just crossed 12,000 this weekend.

see you in Ephrata in June?

once you get on, it's hard to get off.

change the tires, and perhaps, the chain.
