New Michellins and Dyna Beads

I replaced the stock Dunlops this past weekend after 7K miles and the threads showing in the center of the tire. The Michellins Road Pilot 2's that replaced the stockers are awesome. It's like a completely different bike.

I changed the tires myself last Sunday. It was surprisingly easy. Breaking the bead was a pain at first until I found out my wife's father has a bead breaking machine in his garage. That made life easier.

For balancing, I decided to try Dyna Beads from Innovative Balancing after reading mixed reviews and opinions. They work great. The ride is smooth as glass. I only have ~ 150 miles on the new tires with the beads. So far, no problems, smooth ride, you don't hear the beads or anything. I definitely recommend. They were $20 and change with shipping. Tires were $306 shipped from Motorcycle-Superstore.com.
