My name is Tyler. I have owned my 86 Interceptor VF500 since 2000. It dropped a valve later that year. Bad luck. 9 Years later, I am now looking at buying a used motor out of a 85 with no carbs. Will the carbs off my old 86 work on a 85 motor? I have read that 85 carbs are a little bigger or better flow. TIA I also searched around and only could find that you can get 85 carbs to work on a 86 motor, but its a PIA.
