    Hi,
I am new to the site. I am shopping bikes right now and have been getting alot of good info up here the last few days, so I'll start paying back.

I have been out of biking for a while, but I am going to ease my way back in. Road some street bikes and dirt bikes (and I bicycle hardcore a couple times a week ). Took the MSF basic course years ago and am going to retake it and probably the advanced course after that...

I like the VFR, except for one thing - the weight. Scares me a bit. I have had alot of high hp cars and am in my 40's so I know I can keep my right hand under control so it's not the power. So here's your chance to convince me to buy one. I have been looking at different bikes - road an 05 VFR and an 03 CBR600RR. Looking at an 08 Buell Firebolt XB12R which I am leaning towards buying it's such a good deal and awesome bike, though I haven't ridden one yet.

Today I am going to look at new 2007 VFR's in the basic DC vicinity. I have a line on a couple of new 2007 RWB ABS bikes, a non ABS RWB, and a 2007 Red bike. The RWBs are going for $7700 (the non ABS dealer needs to smell the coffee) and the red one for $6700. Some amazing deals out there now. The ABS dealer has a 2005 600RR that is new also for $5700. And I have found a few new 2006 F4I's out there - I'd call it a baby VFR in some ways. Too many choices. I can give more info on the VFR's tonight after I look at them and see if I want one if anyone is interested...

I know alot of info at once, but times a wastin'...
