I just joined up, very excited to be here. I have read a lot of the pages before joining. This seems like an excellent community of VFR lovers. Looking forward to sharing my experiences and learning more about my bike along the way. I am buying a 2001 right now, should have it by this weekend and I couldn't be more excited. I drive the '93 pretty often and love it but def. looking forward to the fuel injection and slightly more displacement. It's got a PCIII, K&N filter, and a D&D pipe. Can anyone comment on the pros and/or cons of this setup? Once again, hello to all. I am happy to be a new member of your group.

Welcome Karl, it sounds like you've got a good set up. One thing that I would be sure to look at is the mapping on the PCIII. I'm sure the previuos owner had it dialed in but it is definately worth a check. I'm not sure about the 5th gens requirements in terms of o2 eliminators, but if they're the same as a 6th gens I would get them. A dyno run and a custom fuel map wouldn't hurt, unless it's already been done.
