Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking on here for awhile while trying to decide what Motorcycle I wanted to buy. I have been riding for about a year and half now. I currently own a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic, which was a great bike to learn on. It was getting boring and I wanted to go on weekend trips with co-workers who all ride Sport Tours. After months of wearing down my wife, she finally agreed to let me take a hit on my bike so I could upgrade. I mainly looked at 2 motorcycles. I was looking at a 'New' 2008 Triumph Sprint ST and a 'New' 2007 VFR 800. They are both both $8500 with the bags. Well, Honda was willing to at least give me Kelly BB trade in value for my current ride, plus the insurance was almost half what it was on the Sprint, so I have decided on the VFR. I am going down to trade mine in this Saturday and sign the papers. They still have to order the bags and the Helio Bars, so I am not sure if I will actually bring it home this weekend, but it won't be long. I am really exited about learning how to ride a different class of bike. I am sure I will be on here asking for advice from some of you gurus:smile:
