    Hi All,
I'm trading in an SV650S and a Tiger800 in the next few weeks for a 2014 white VFR800.
I was after something in between the cramped (for me) position of the Suzuki and relaxed adventure feel of the Tiger. After looking at the Kawasaki Z1000SX (felt like I was falling over the front wheel, but a super slick engine) and a BMW F800GT (felt like it was missing the BMW quality you'd expect) I read a review of the VFR.
One test ride was all it needed - it's absolutely spot on for me. Ample performance, restrained looks, touring potential, good for quick evening blasts, commuting, the lot. Everyone's got different priorities - I've heard complaints it's not quick enough, too much like one from the 80's, but for me it pretty much exactly matches all my tick boxes for a bike.
Delivery's in September and I'm planning a trip to Wales or Scotland to run it in. I'll make sure I get some photos with the spectacular scenery.

Would you not be best off selling your SV and Tiger to private parties? In the US the trade in values at dealerships is lower than rock bottom. Here one could bring in a brand new Rolls and the friendly sales dude would tell you it's a POS.

    Thanks for the welcome.
Dealer's given me a good enough deal that just about balances out the hassle and better price I'd get selling privately. Yep, I'd get more selling them myself, but time's really precious at the moment.
