    Hey guys,

Just got a 2002 VFR 800 with 10k miles and perfect maintenance records.

Ride home was pure bliss. My prior bikes are Yamaha RX135 (2 stroke single cylinder street bike), Daytona 675 and a 2004 Tuono. After riding those bikes, the Viffer was a revelation. I had no idea you could make a motorcycle so perfect! Engine was super smooth, gearbox was slick, finding neutral was sooo easy and power was perfectly under control without VTec. Havent opened up enought to experience VTec yet. Looking forward to being part of the community.

Welcome aboard. And you posted a pic in your first post. Nice looking bike, I'm looking at a 02 also.

Well everyone knows that yellow is the fastest color, but that's still a damn fine bike you have there.

I know you said you have all the service records. make sure that includes the wiring harness recall that was issued on all 2002 to 2005 models. If you're not sure, get in touch with a dealer or Honda NA and just have either of them run your VIN.

We were going through the service records and I saw that the wiring harness recall was done.

Lol about the color. This is my first bike (other than the 1974 RD for which I had no choice but purple) that is not black :)

Dude! I grew up in Astoria, Oregon, and spent many days in your neighborhood.

I have a 2004 VFR (same as yours) and it is the smoothest motorcycle ever. I have ridden Tuonos too (much fun!) and welcome to the Madness!

That's one sexy machine! Of course, I'm biased.
Wait until you engage the V-tech, you'll have a shit-eating grin and that'll be the most fun you ever had with your pants on.
