    Klaus-Peter - Welcome to VFR-WORLD

5 bikes - WOW - as others have said it would be nice if you post up some photos!!

Check out the posts in the Local Riders - Europe section of the forum and you will see there are a few other VFR-WORLD members in Germany. Currently there is two metres of snow here in the Alps, so whilst my VFR is in Winter storage, I am already planning where to go when the Spring finally arrives. Last year I rode past Hamburg on route from Geneva to see relatives who live in Denmark. This year I will be in Sankt Wendel Germany for a 3 day meet organised by Ulysses-Club Deutschland during the holiday at the end of May. If you post up your plans on the forum, you might find others wanting to meet up or join you for part of the trip.

I've been to Germany a number of times. My company had a facility in Mullheim. As I recall, that was in the southwest part of the country not too far from France. From what I remember and from what I saw, Germany is a great place to ride. Also, motorcycles are very prominent there. Unlike the US, gas is extremely expensive which makes owning a motorcycle more of an economic decision. I remember seeing a ton of scooters there as well. Welcome.

Klaus-Peter - Really like the Photo Album. You have some very nice bikes and like us it looks like you have had a fair bit of snow recently.
Fingers crossed the weather will start to warm up soon and we can get the bikes out.

thanks for welcome. it´s nice to read a member who has been in my country. i hope you enjoyed your stay in garmany. do you want to come again to germany ?

yes the motorcycles are very prominent here, the gasoline is expensive - in opposite to the usa - but we have no choice it´s our hobby !

the scooters are more popular, because most of them can be ride with the driving licens of cars - so a plenty of peoples use in the citys scooters. in the citiys - specialy in the big citys is not so much carparking space, and to ride with an scooter is a good alternative. these scooter need so much gasoline.

    kind regards
