Probably more vaporware. There seems to be quite a bit of information that is supposed to be shown inside the helmet. Seems like it might be distracting.

I'll post more details as I get them. The last picture makes it look huge tho.

I don't know if that helmet is gargantuan or if that tiny girl is just anorexic, but that was a poor choice for modelling the thing. I'm all for helmet advancement, but I just don't trust all the electronics built into a helmet. I like the flexibility a Sena gives me for speakers or earbuds and I can move it from one helmet to another.

The increased field of vision sounds nice, but I am wondering how much structural integrity is lost with that huge opening?

I'm all for situational awareness but as Marriedman says, the thing looks huge and for all of this stuff to be built into the helmet leaves less ability customize it for your personal preferences. It feels to me like these HUD systems are just a gimmick to try and sell people something nobody asked for and with their marketing and spin doctoring, they make you feel that it's something you need in order to be more safe. Head on a swivel and pay the F**k attention to your surroundings, lets try that first...

    Speaking of marketing...(warning, NSFW)

    looks cool, but HUGE!

if my sena could get music and gps on the same page with the volume, i'd be real happy.

Obviously the GPS audible directions need to be at a higher volume than the music you are listening to otherwise you may miss turns. But I think the difference is a little over board. Maybe cut the difference down just a tat, an create a short pause between the music and the directions would alert you that there are instructions coming.

I do pair my GPS to my Sena but not very often. Certainly when I am travelling around in unfamiliar lands but I just use the visuals when I am in familiar locals.

Good points, OOTV. And the video was funny too. I've always been one to not have to have the new fangles and I scoff at marketing techniques. I'm no seller or buyer at heart anyway, so found this humorous. But I understand people love to create and imagine and make things better...

With that said, I also feel so often it's been shown in society that advancements are not necessarily the best (there is a problem when my 5-year-old students do not know what the letter A is but can describe to me in detail happenings in GTA V).

I'll stay with my basic junky helmet and SENA with the distractions it already gives from auido while trying to avoid the dorks on the road.

That helmet discusssed here would be the last straw in toppling me over in a Kansas wind too.
But that chickie's jacket is HAWT. If I was in the market for one...

IMO its great to have a shitload of choices in a helmet. The more choices, the greater the chances for not being a drain on society and having to move back in with your parents when you're 50 because you were listening to 70's rock, shooting the shit with six other guys and using the heads up nav system and then wife calls on the cell link and wants a bunch of stuff from Wal*Mart and you do a head plant into the back of a semi and drool in your grits for the next 30 years.

I'd use a model with bigger tits to sell the idea. Big tits work..

Maybe by 2019 they will come up with a hydration system that makes Lattes or whips up some Top Ramen.

Bill Hicks: RIP. Saw him in Houston years ago.

Looking at the shape of the helmet in the picture above, it looks as if you turned your head to check the lane next to you, the wind would catch the helmet and keep twisting your neck around until you're starting at the traffic behind you. Perhaps that's what they mean by 360° view...

I'd wear it to a Cosplay, or a SciFi convention. With the right outfit, one could look like something straight out of space.

If somebody got ahold of one of these, they could go to a bike night and never take it off. Ultimate cool!
