New Here looking for some help.

Hi, My name is Gary and the reason I'm here is a very Close friend of mine passed away last December leaving his wife with a Mint condition 2003 Honda VFR800i Interceptor. She has asked me to try and help here sell it. I Told her I would try. This bike was owned by a gentleman in his early 50's so it has not been abused. It has never been out in the rain, never been down and has always been garaged. It only has 2300 miles on it and looks like brand new.

Now this is where all you come in...... Whats a bike like this worth?

Please don't flame me for this post, I am an admin on another board and understand how it looks when somebody just registers to sell something. Thats not why I'm here. I just looking for advice on how to price this bike for local sale or maybe to purchase for myself.

sorry to hear about the passing of your friend.

with the VFR 1200 on the floor and the 6th gen left overs I would say $5,000.00

post up some pics and maybe someone here will make an offer on it.

I almost forgot bike also has the matching interceptor hard saddlebags that may go with it or be sold separately depending on price.

I see from the pics that the bike does not have ABS which add abouts +/- $500 to the value but still with that low mileage and the aftermarket exhaust you should easily be able to get $5000 or more. If I was you I would ask $5500 for the bike by itself and see where it goes. If someone offers you $5000 I'd make the deal. If they want the matching hard bags I would ask $6000 and take no less than $5500.

Any idea what brand exhaust is on the bike? It looks like a Staintune but I'd like to know for sure. Any identifiable markings on it?
