New here from texas (dfw area) NOW WITH PIC!

    Greeting from Tejas!
I recently Traded my 07 ZX6R for an 06 VFR800 (Pearl White) [IMG]

Looks like I will be needing to do some minor maintenance on it before taking it too far. I have already downloaded the 02 Service Manual and from everyones telling me it will work for my bike.
So here is what I will be doing... opinions/resources wanted:
New Brake Pads... put EBC on my ZX6R and had no issues... opinions? where to get best price for this bike?
New Chain and Sprockets what is recommended for this bike? Where to get? Leave at stock or change gearing? opinions wanted
Flush and replace coolant bike is running around 236 degrees... I know its hot here in Tejas but this seems extreme? Ran Engine Ice in my 07ZX6R thoughts?
Oil Change... was given an extra filter with the bike... what kind of oil? I know I know... but let the opinions roll in
Suspension is spongy... plan on taking to the track in Oct. will I be able to just get by with suspension adjustment at the track?

Will be getting Helmet communication as I ride 2up a lot with my Fiancee'... who likes what and why?

Thanks in advance for any and all help

Hey dude welcome to the site!

I would leave the gearing stock as it is the best all round set up unless you want to loft the front wheel all the time.

    The bike looks awesome!
