I just picked up an 02 VFR. I think that the motor my not be original due to running as good as it does on a bike with 111,000 miles on it. How can I tell if the motor has been swapped???? Also, It shuts off if I downshift into first at speeds above 30 to 35 mph. is this normal?

    1. Match the VIN on the motor to the VIN on the frame.

    2. No, that is not normal. Could be a fueling and/or mapping issue.
