hey everyone, glad to be a member. Ive learned alot thanks to this site. I recently purchased my first bike. A beautiful 01 vfr800fi i found for $3200 with 9400 miles. I've been on numerous bikes mainly cruisers but last year started racing a 10 sec.kz so i decided to get a streetbike just to get more comfortable on a bike. I considered several different bikes, Kaw zxr12, sv, zzr, and the first one i had my eye on was an RC51. i finally talked myself out of the RC51 due to the fact it was a little to much bike for a newb. After weeks of debating i stumbled on a VFR. I loved it, sexy and sleek. cheap to insure. Comfortable for two up. And all the followers were so crazy for this bike. I made up my mind the only bike to go in my garage had to be the the interceptor. I'm a big honda fan. Everything I've ever owned has been honda-2000 400ex, 86 cr125, 77 fl250 odyssey, 94 civic ex, 97 prelude(bad ass 4 cylinder), and a few I'm forgetting. but I know what to expect out of this honda. Ive found a few ppl that has gotten 400k+ miles out of this amazing little V-4. Once again I'm glad to be amongst this very knowlegable vfr gang. Thanks for reading
