hey everyone, just thought I would introduce myself. I have owned several motorcycles, sport and cruiser, but I bought an 07 VFR three months ago. I now have 6000 miles on this machine and I love every minute of it. I made the dealer throw in honda's hard bags for free and you can't tell the difference in the twisties. I love this thing. I mainly commute to work with it, 70 miles one way, plus hit the backroads every Friday. No chicken strip either. Awesome forum, thanks.

I am in San Diego with you derstuka, gotta ask too, what does that mean? Anyhow, my bike is the 07 red model. I haven't done any mods yet. i have been on the site just about every day doing research. the only mod i will probably do is the gutted exhaustl. Maybe eventually had some heli bars and a double bubble. I live at the end of the 94 over here but I normally take the 8 all the way in. Easier, in the mornings but I try to take the 94, or honey springs, lyons valley, japatul valley, they all lead back to my place. eventually, haha. anyhow thanks for all the advice.

oh, the only thing i don't like is the flat spot at around 6,000rpm. later.
