Just bought my first VFR -been waiting a long time. In the past I've owned CB-350s, RD-400s, a BMW R-65LS, and a Suzuki GS-850g. This is a '95 VFR-750, needs a r/r and some bodywork repair - I'll post some pics soon as I get it home. I'm about to build a wheel chock out of 2 X 4s so I can go bring it home, and was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what the width of the front wheel / tire is. I know I can look up the front tire size and go from that, but I was thinking that once mounted the width might actually be wider. Any ideas? Thanks

4 1/2 inches. Harbor Fetight sells a decent wheel chock for about $30 on sale.

Used to go to "Super Sundays" at the Marcus Dairy Farm in Danberry CT! It was a good ride there from N. Jersey, heard it was knocked down and paved over. Concrads on your new :scooter:
