hey all. this is my first step towards becoming a VFR owner :) .

i currently own and ride a suzuki V-strom (DL650), but my goal by this time next year is to have a sixth gen. VFR. i'll be lurking and reading the board.

this is my current ride. i'm in the process of getting a full givi hard luggage set up for it:

Welcome aboard. I do know that name and avatar from "The Other Place" though ;) Good to see another V-Strom owner here. That makes 3 of us that I know of.

please don't tell anyone i plan on cheating on my wee  .

if all goes well, i'd like to keep the v-strom, it's a great bike, but i think a VFR is my destiny. what can i say, i have a penchant for 'real world' motorcycles :) .

They are both great bikes in their own way. I did keep my V-Strom and it gets ridden as much as my VFR does. They are different in most every way yet they compliment each other very well. The VFR is more aggressive, yet not as much so as a CBR or GSX-R. The V-Strom is more laid back but not as much as a cruiser or touring bike. Keep 'em both if you can, it's worthwhile.

Welcome aboard. I have the same jacket in red, use it for my cool/cold weather riding.
