New first gen from NC

    Hey guys, just got my first street bike. I have been riding a cruiser for the past few years but I am super pumped about the new ride. I just picked up a '85 VF500 off of CL for cheap, the bike is in pieces and needs a lot of TLC but I am excited.

    Welcome to the World Doobinski. There is plenty info here and a few folks that can help you with your rebuild so don't be afraid to ask help. The search function works pretty good too.

    Congrats Doobinski, first steet bike but been riding a cruiser for the last few years on the street I gather? I dont understand..........:)
