New fairing kit. Where does this part go?

Hello all,

This is my first post on this forum. I recently got a new fairing kit for my 2007 VFR800A. I got this part and I see it shown on an aftermarket bolt kit diagram as well, but I can't figure out where it might go. I thought it might have something to do with the rear fairing under the seat and near the exhaust but I don't see anything like that currently on my bike. Anyone know what this is or where it goes?

Ahh, okay, thanks. The bike I have now seems to be missing that part which is why it had me so confused.
