New enthusiast forum based scam to watch out for

    Check out the 1st page and last couple of pages of this "
    enthusiast " Forum based scam to watch out for.

    Basically a person "mud-plugger" joins a site posing as an enthusiast, in this case UK based car forum that needs to sell his collected bits for a "valid" reason collects the money from folks then runs off with the money, apparently they have been hitting several forums before folks have gotten wise to them.

    What I find most objectionable is they are basing their rip off on the trust like minded owners naturally share with other like minded owners. :mad2:

    These type of people are also doing the very same on ebay. Selling items, that never come and all their information details with ebay are false.
