New bike, new member, new.. everything?

Hey guys! i'm very happy to join a VFR forum, finally! i've been wanting one for some time now. I found a very nice 02' non-abs with 5100 miles on it. so i snatched it up.. I can't even ride it yet, due to an accident i was in on 8-8-08. I've been into vintage bikes for some time now. The accident i speak of, i was riding my 76' cb750 super sport, and a jeep pulled out in front of me, and i didn't have enough room to stop the old guy. So that was really the final straw in my choice of getting a newer motorcycle. As of right now, i'm sitting here with two casts on each wrist, and a shiny red motorcycle in the garage, its torture!

But anyway guys, i'm happy to be here, and i'll be snooping around for a while it looks like, lots of content here..

Welcome aboard Tumbler. Sweet looking ride. I feel for you having to look at the bike parked. Mine is sitting right next to me as we speak and I can't ride it for another three months or so for medical reason. My psychiatrist told me I ride too much so he has me on mind altering drugs.

Actually the bike has sat for a month now and is collecting fly poop on it.

Mend soon and get out there.

BTW, looking at that rear tire I would tend to believe this bike was not ridden hard at all. Good snag.

 

Welcome aboard. I hope you have a good support system to help you through this trying time. Are you at least able to bend your elbows to get beer to your lips?
