Motorcyclist had a review of a new $32K American V4 Sport Touring motorcycle (NOT a cruiser) called the Motus, built in Alabama!

Engine is based on the L-88 Corvette engine, fuel injected, push rod, 1650cc V4.

An absolutely ridiculous showpiece. There is no need for that kind of power--or weight--on a motorcycle, not another BossHoss please.

For 32K I could buy a Harley or 25-30 of those old VFRs that had so many problems that you'd need that many for parts to keep one running.

The Motus has been around for awhile. Of course the nay sayers were around when the first Buells and Hondas came oot too.

Been around for a while. I saw one in person at the Barber motorcycle museum last November. Very expensive but it really is very well built with some very nice parts. Hell the brakes, forks and shock cost more than a VFR.

The HP is not great but the torque is crazy 127 lbs. The real difference is the power to weight ratio. There are a lot of stock bikes now in the 200 hp (now including the new Yamaha R1) range but they do not weigh 225 lbs!!!!!!!!
