30+years ago I owned an 84 and 86 VF500 that I really enjoyed riding. Married life resulted in selling both of them but I recently picked up a new to me 86 VF500 in an online auction. The bike was delivered last week and unfortunately it appears to be in worse shape than the pictures showed, and I probably paid too much for it based on its condition. However, it's got a good bones and I'm up for the challenge and will get it road worthy and as new as possible once again. I've already got a few parts on order and will slowly tear into it and make it shine once again. Below is a 78 Suzuki RM125 I bought and restored a couple of years ago and I have faith and the determination that I can do the same with the mighty Interceptor as well. Stay tuned...
