I was looking to replace my 06 SV650s this year. I wanted something more comfortable with hard luggage. I thought the money situation was going to prevent me from getting anything. A guy at work mentioned a friend of a friend had an 06 VFR with factory hard bags. I got a very good deal. Original owner 10,800mi. All stock except for gutted mufflers. I still don't have the paperwork but I'm looking forward to riding a Honda again. I'm guessing it will be a little nicer than the 77' CB550 I sold a few years ago.

I'm pretty excited about riding this thing.

Sort of a crap photo. I'll get more when I get time.

Looks like a sepia tone photo...Looks decent though. Congrats on your new ride! 10k is a drop in the bucket for these bikes. Welcome aboard!

Looks vaguely familiar. Agree with OOTVS. My 06 has 10 times that and I have no concerns at all. Had to paint mine though. ALl those miles in the weather left the paint all pitted.

Thanks guys. I just snapped the pic quickly and the WB settings on the camera were way off. There is a white one like this at a local dealer that's been there for a couple years. Kind of funny that I bought one a few miles away that's the same. I'm checking into the warranty issues. It needs a chain and the bags were (poorly) painted by the PO so I might have to repaint them. White would not have been my first choice but maybe it'll help the cagers see me. Also the reweld job on the muffler gut is ugly. I'm sure those aren't easy to weld back together but my Old Man's a welding teacher so I can't stand seeing ugly welds. No offense to the PO. I ride to work pretty early in the morning so I might do something to quiet it down some anyway. My neighbors are cool and I'm getting too old for the noise anyway. I digress. The bike's cool. I've been reading alot about them on here; good stuff.
