New 1985 Interceptor 750 (for me)

Hey peeps, just took possession of a 1985 750.
I'm 3rd owner, has 22,000 km's on it, really good shape.
Last owner was a mechanic and side car racer and used bike sparadically.
Came off an 1988 Yammi FZ600 for a couple years after a looooong time away from riding (25 yrs)
600 was a fun bike but oh so hard on my a** only ride it for an hour and had to get off.

Dude, what a score.It looks like its in fantastic shape. That was my first street bike 84--does everything great-- put 200,000 miles on mine. Congrats Spunner

 

Really???!!! 200k miles without problems right? So that means I have 135k left on mine! :cheer2:

 

Dude, its been allot of drugs and beer since 84, but I do recollect something about the cams that was fixed under warranty. I'm sure if you search first gen here you can find out if I'm correct. The PO sounds like he most likely handled it--call him and ask. Good luck, I sure would like to have one sitting in my garage----hmmmm maybe but probably would have to hide somewhere from the wife like say OOTVS house, he's good at that hiding thing---:crazy:

 

Hey, That's my hiding spot! besides it's taken. Now the wife's garage is somewhat empty, I may be able to convince her to rent some space, but I'm sure it'll be costly.
