Hi. Great forum... maybe the best bike specific one I have been on. Great base of info, especially before my purchase.

I ride with Sportriders.org (plug!) in western NY. Just got my '01 VFR800 with 11k on it for $4k last week, and I must say - yes it truly is all its cracked up to be. I like the V4 concept and had a '03 Honda 919. I wished the 919 had a bit more in the handling Dept and was willing to gain a bit of weight and lose a bit of torque. I don't regret it in the least bit.

I keep telling friends, "you know how a new to you bike is like a new pair of jeans, and they just don't feel totally right until they're worn in? This is the only bike I have gotten that 25 miles down the road I felt like I had been riding it for years and years." Can't say enough good things about it. After 600 miles in basically one weekend, I'm sold on VFRs.

    John
