Hello Amigos, It`s time to say Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all members.

I`m going to replace the chain of my bike (VFR2000), and found in ebay a brand called RACE DRIVEN (530 x 108 o-ring chain, $51.00 plus shipment)
has anyone used this brand or is it comparable to the original DID or RK chain brand?
    Thanks for the suggestions.................

Never heard of it. I got a package deal on an RK the first time, then the second time I just got the chain and didn't do the sprockets cause I want to test everyone's theories about whether or not they wear faster if you don't change the sprockets. So far, I can't tell much difference.

Based on what I can see, there not even in the same league as D.I.D. If you don't ride all that hard it may not matter. If you are, you may want to consider the DID VM chain. It's going to cost you an extra $30 or so, but worth it.

I'm plenty happy with my stock Honda chain. Come that time, I'll replace it with same. I have 25,000 miles on mine now and my mechanic said it's about half worn out. I commute and long distance with mine. I don't get on it too much. Even my mechanic said that the stock Honda chain is a very good quality.I am however going to replace the sprockets and chain at the same time. When I do, I am going to get a few more teeth in the rear to lower highway rpms.

??? Rpm's will be higher at any given speed if you add teeth to the rear. It will however improve 0-100mph acceleration and bring some power back to the mids, a mod I love. If you want to lower rpm at higher speeds (not a very common mod at all) you'll want to either add teeth to the front ( easiest) or reduce teeth in the rear. Reducing in the rear is tough because not many manufactorers make anything with less than the 43 tooth OEM.

$50 ?????? No way that's a good quility chain. Probably made in China with inferior materials and minimal quality control.

No matter how you slice it a high quality chain + sprockets= $ 140-$160 US at a minimum.

havcar... my bad... I did mean fewer teeth on the rear sprocket. Yes, they are available, and usually you have to go with a shorter chain as well.
