Need to identify my bike.

Hi, I have just bought a VF750R and need to check the ID/year. I was told it was registered in 1987, however it has a 1983 (Y) plate (UK) on it.
The frame number states: RC15-1006620 & the engine number is RC07E-1018021.
Can somebody please confirm the correct age of the bike?

Glad to see that someone else has a VF 750R. I too have a similar question. My engine id is: RC07E-1018213 and my frame # is: RC15 - 1006529.

Any idea on the age of this bike?

Neither of you guys have an "R" model bike.

A super quick Google search on "RC15 Honda" reveals that the bike is an 1983-1986 Honda VF750F.

 

This guy's waited almost 4 years for his answer. I'd say that's pretty patient! Lol
