well since i am waiting to order my hondaline hard bags for a while, im gonna pick up some large size soft bags
probably the firstgear ONYX bags or similiar

anyway. i dont really wanna use the straps under the seat and whatever other way they have to mount them up.

so im going to fabricate a set of saddlebag stays.

can anyone give me some pics of there honda, or givi bag brackets. id like to know the mounting points so i can get an idea of where to mount/ how to make the brackets.

    Location:
    Smoggy but always sunny, LA
    take a look HERE
i too fabricated some brackets to keep the bags off my pipes.
    although, mine are softies
i can tell you i used the same mounting points the hard bags use.
    1 - pillion grips
2 - that random hole on the passenger peg bracket
    3 - behind license plate

    hey thanks alot...
thats basically what i was thinking of doing.. but using some small diameter round stock..
and welding some of it together besides the mounting points.

i have a krauser rear top case that mounts in location of the factory grap rails.. and there are spacers used to kick it up some. so im gonna try to do away with the spacers by making a mounting point there for the soft bags.
