I have been using a generic map from Power Commander III software and would like to find another successful map that I can try. I have a Pipewerx can, K&N air, and PCIII. Any help?
I use basic map because I have stock exhaust. Still made a big difference. Check web site: http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/products/powercommander/powercommander_iii_usb.aspx Try a map for a different exhaust system, K&N doesn't make any difference. Are you using O2 sensor eliminators? (two 330 Ohm resistors in place of sensors).
i have this cozy map for pc3 if you want it, guys say it's good, pm me your email and i'll attach it. leaving house in a min till around 9pm est though.
I dont have oxygen sensors on my bike. I have access to the PCIII maps, but need to find one that works, thanks.
Not familiar with your year, did it originally have a catalytic converter & sensors?, if so, the connection for the O2 sensors will still be there. The resistors fool the ECU into thinking they are there. Here is the link on how to make them: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/20350-make-your-own-o2-sensor-eliminators/
I have a Y2K with a PC3 running the Two Bro's/stock everything else map and it smells a bit fat. I have been thinking of getting it set up on the dyno. Would anyone advise this? It runs OK otherwise.
