I am fairly new to his forum but have been lurking. I have a 2007 RWB VFR800. I have been working on my daughters CBR954 over the winter. She would like it lowered a bit. I am wondering if I can use the same method of rotating the shock linkage side plates on the CBR as with the VFR along with raising the forks about 10mm??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Wow, good luck. I've had all the big CBR's for the last 9 years(929, 954, '04 1000, '06 1000 and an '08 1000) and I've yet to hear of any of them being able to be lowered. You might gain a half inch with a Sargent or Corbin saddle but I'm not sure you can lower the suspension without jeopardizing geometry. I had a set of Heli clip-ons to try and get a little more comfort but that wouldn't help your cause. Best of luck! :wedgie:
