I know its Winter but I need some hot weather gloves for 80+ degrees. I will only buy full gauntlet glove as the short ones get to much air in my jacket.

Anyone have any nice summer gloves they have bought with full gauntlet. ??

    Thanks.

Shame you mentioned Gauntlet otherwise I'd recommend the BMW Airflow 2s they were very comfortable and cool even at 100f+.

Unfortunately lost my Airflow 2 gloves so shortly before heading off on a 3 day Summer ride and needing a pair of protective Summer gloves quickly to replace them bought a pair of all leather and perforated Alpinestars Octane S-Moto. As you can see they have wrist padding and while better in Hot to very hot weather than my normal use Alpinestars GP Plus's which are worn up to 80f. The S-Motos while pretty good once worn in are neither as long distance comfortable or ultimately as cool at the Higher temps as the BMW Airflow2s were but as they too don't have a Gauntet not much use to you either but on a 100f day I usually open my cuffs a bit anyway to let a little air into my Jacket.

Alpinestars GP Plus. Yes, they're expensive but comfortable, provides a lot of protection and has ventilation for hot days.

I think full gauntlet gloves are essential for protection. Your wrists have some very important goodies in them and when going down it is easy to expose them when your sleeves get pushed up. I will always remember the fellow you almost had his hand sliced off when he encountered a guard rail...the full glove saved him.
I use the Held "Steve" model which is very nice . Not cheap and not for over 95 degrees but it is an amazing glove.

The kangaroo leather on the palm, the pittard leather on the back, the metal studs (over Nomex), the carbon fiber area on the gauntlet, the fit and worksmanship...all make for an excellent glove. They are worth the cost.

I can live with a scar on my leg, but disfigured hands are unacceptable. Cost is negligible when it comes to gloves for me.
