Need help with rear lights not working

Hello all first I know this has been asked but no one ever really posted an update to if anything actually worked. This is what happen everything was fine the yesterday morning I noticed I had no rear lights at all including license plate light came home replaced all the bulbs now I have light but when I engage front or rear pedal/lever no brake light it just stays solid and also the rear license plate light still does not work I'm at a loss as I'm no electrical guy and sure as heck never used an ohm meter I will take the fairings off this morning to check fuses but other than that I'm lost. Also anyone else with an 04? Does all three lights stay on as running lights or just the brake light. Thanks for any help
