hey guys, I need some help from the collective. I have the fairing off my bike & removed 5 screws trying to get to the ignition lock out (lost my keys). the problem now is the steering lock is engaged and it won't let the cylinder fall out. Any suggestions? I'm doing this in the rain, so sooner would be better than later. Thanks!

    It's been a LOOOOOOONG winter.

I ended up getting a NOS lockset in the original packaging for $99~ woo hoo!

Got the lockset installed today, but ended up pulling ALL the plastic to change the oil, tighten nuts/bolts, & replace a couple of burned out dash lights.

Next paycheck, ordering a R/R, VFRness & maybe a new stator, depending on what tests determine...

Then, new tires & brake pads & she's ready to go for the season!

It sucks but if the lock pin is engaged the tumbler can not drop out. This is so some moron cant just punch the tumbler down and then ride/roll the bike away.

    Good find on fleebay though.
