Hi, Mine name is Matt and I have ridden street bikes since I was 15. Started off on a Honda 175, have had more Hondas, Kawasakis, Yamahas and Harleys. I currently race a 1948 BSA 500 single at El Mirage & Bonneville. I am new to this board, looking forward to some great info from this site. I am building a landspeed racing motorcycle and will be using a 2002 VFR 800 Vtec engine. I have an engine, ECU, wiring harness and rectifier. I am looking for anyone with knowledge on how I can get this thing to run. Specifically, what can I do to jumper the harness to bypass the speedo, O2 sensor, tilt sensor etc. Or if anyone has a gauge cluster for sale, that would help also. I am using an inline fuel pump to feed the engine. I have a Honda & a Haynes manual. This new-fangled fuel injection is new to me, so I think it will take a while for me to sort this all out.
