I recently rode the bike to Deal's Gap for 4 wonderful days of riding. I also cut over to Birmingham AL to see the Barber Museum, which was probably the best museum Ive ever been to. All totalled, I did about 2500 miles in 6 days, and other than the wet weather coming back to FL, it was such an awesome trip.

Just thought Id share a few of my pics with you...

Some of the professional pics first...

Great pics! ...just seeing 2 RC 30s wasting away on a stand makes me want to cry though! ;)

    Thanks for posting!

    Relax!

Every bike in the museum has been fully restored (except a select few which were kept original for historic reasons) and can be ready to hit the track in about 30 minutes. The exhibits are rotated regularly. It's a great place and they also have a nice collection of lotuses (Loti?) and my personal favorite: a Ferrari Dino.

    Cheers!

    Craig

The VFR's in my pictures all have 0 miles on them. It killed me. I wanted to take each one out back for a few laps around the track.

I've been to Barber 3 times and it is just magnificent. The thing that really amazed me about it is that there is not a single speck of dust anywhere in the facility. I think everyone walks around with a dust rag in their pocket or something.

Pix of my three trips are:
    Here (06/02/07)
    Here (09/29/07)
    Here (09/27/08)

I also love east Tennessee roads. Some fantastic riding in that part of the state.

Thanks for your pix. Great photos!

Of course yesterday, after the bike turned 10k miles, I dropped it in the parking lot after a failed attempt with the center stand. After looking it over and polishing it up a bit today, I assume I am a lucky person. Very minor scratches on the lower cowl, right engine case, and slightly bent front and rear brake levers. Phewww!
