Will do They have a monthly meet, first saturday of the month, its all the motovloggers in Arizona. Funny thing, 4 VFR's ended up being at the meet.

Splitting in Phx is a BAD idea. They are not used to it and they all carry guns.
If you were to scare one of them or piss one of them off...

It is really hard not to split after living in Cali, but cagers who are not used to it are dangerous.

Thanks my friends, yeah, I found out you can carry fire arms, but I guess people are more tempered out in Arizona hence they let them carry weapons. lol

The dancing was fine but you guys were doing the wrong steps. Those were not the official steps for the "Cross The Border Boogie", but in fact were the steps for "Hey We Scored Some Rad Roadkill."

South Mountain is a tasty little road, but it is almost never free of tourists and recreators that ruin a good groove.

Looks like you had fun with our haboob.

 

I get a rush riding in the wind. But have to admitt. Never dealt with dust storms. Snow yes, unfortunately, and rain. Fog at night is just a bitch. Forms up on your face shield really fast. Rain will bead off if treated but fog has to be wiped and if you don't have a wiper blade on your glove, you are fukt cause a regular glove just smears this stuff with the road film. The HID lights shine back on you really bad. But the winds while riding give me a woodie. I am sick , I know.

I assume that LEO stopped to check you guys were OK? Imagine that. No one ever post about things like that now do they.

What shape was your chain in after all that dust and sand blowing around? Was there any scratches to the side of the tank that could not be polished out?

Are you going to R3. It would be nice to have a qulity video of that ride. You not only seem to have some talent that way, you demonstate that you do too.

 

I take that compliment deeply to heart my friend. I appreciate it. The scratches are actually permanent....especially from the tank bag, sand got underneath and I was sliding it back and forth on the vid lol But I'm planning to just leave the bike the way it was....almost gives it character....good conversation starter. The chain was fine, I took the bike to the shop the week I got back, after 1000 miles it just needed to be cleaned and relubed....Tension was perfect. My mechanic couldn't believe it either....but ever since I started bringing my bike to him, he started liking it more and more. He knows I'm not some type of squid and he sees my chicken strips are smaller then 98% of the sport bikes that come into his shop.

You gotta read the threads Bud. This weekend is Epic, all upper case and in 86 font Bright red. I've been twice and so long as my limbs allow, (my wife has "some" say as well), I will make as many more as possible. My first trip to this event three years ago cemented my fondness of everyone here. A great bunch of assholes....all of them. Remember. If you don't have an asshole, you can't shit and get that bad stuff out.

I can assure you , you would be welcomed there. I can't say enough.
