My tool kit is missing - can I use a gen 6 kit?

    Hi, just bought (today!) a really nice VFR800 (1999). Will post some pics at the weekend when it stops raining, and say a proper "hello". The only downside is that the bike didn't have it's tool kit. I've seen a Gen 6 kit for sale on ebay (for 2002-05 models) - will the chain adjuster and shock adjuster for an older Gen 6 fit my Gen 5 bike? Any help appreciated. Loving the VFR already.... just rode it back 100 miles from the previous owners.

    The OEM tools kit is junk the only item I used is the spanner. Get yourself some quality tools and a tools roller.

    that's a plan. Grateful if anyone can tell me what tools I need to put in the kit. Also, are there any special tools I need to buy from Honda or elsewhere? Many thanks
