I joined this forum when I was looking into buying a VFR and wanted to see what all you guys had to say about it, at the time I had a 1992 Kat, don't laugh yet. It was a 600 frame and body but had a 94 750 motor in her with a 750 gsxr carbs, she was jetted piped she was actually a pretty hot bike. Well I had just moved to a new neighbor hood and about a week later she was stolen. I looked at it as an opportunity so I went out and found a brand new 2004 gen 6 VFR at a dealer with 0 miles, great bike (not a big fan of the VTEC though) put 3000 miles on her in 2 months then the day I was going park it for the winter (I live in Ohio) I came home from work and she was FREAKING GONE so pissed. well this spring I started getting the itch again so started looking for a bike found an Yam FZ1 for a decent price but just wasn't my bike I wanted an Interceptor so about 2 weeks ago my brother (VFRHUSBAND on here) texted me with a bike that was in the paper for a 1998 VFR when I went to look at it, she had 117 miles (has 500 now) pretty much brand new 1998 bike needless to say I jumped on it paid 4500$ and I love it. Pictures are on my profile since I seem to not be smart enough to figure out how to post them here
looks like that hood likes to steal bikes.........may want to keep an eye on this one..all bike thieves should be hung like horse theives...
I'm out of that neighborhood now and in a much better one plus i'm able to keep the new bike in a locked garage. Hopefully i'll have much better luck
