I broke my OEM right mirror and got a Emgo after market and noticed I could adj the sliding arm so it would break away just like the folding Levers I have, so next time I hit Mirror it will just fold instead of breaking. It has a Allan adj bolt to set the folding speed up! Just another useful tip by the famous Wolf!:mech::koolaid::horn::pout::bravo:

I thought ALL VFR mirrors were breakaway.....?

Oh...and by the way...."it's better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"

OEM is non adj, aftermarket you can adj how much it takes to move the mirrow. Break your oem and you see.

Glad you can talk your way out of something, because I doubt you could type your way out of a wet paper sack.

Whew! Finally.. Now most dudes would buy a pair of those EMGOs. I am glad to see you are saving money, buying only what you need, feeding your cats and copping freebies off those shemales promising to pay them later.

:stripper::stripper::jaw:I can't tell the difference between Emgo's and OEM unless I see the allan adj bolt, Bad Billy really liked the she male pics I posted, now he can't stop thinking about them. Billy the Kid would chase anything with a skirt-M or F!

Actually I have OEM mirrors on my wife's 96 VFR750 and my 2000 VFR800 and they both move quite easily when pushed. You just have to loosen up the 6mm Allen bolt that attaches the mirror stalk to the mounting bracket. When the side stand on my old 97 VFR sank into the asphalt on a very warm summer day (about 100 F) the bike fell on its side and the stock OEM mirror folded in without breaking. It did get scuffed up by the asphalt when it fell but a little paint and it was good as new. If the bolts that attach the mirror stalk to the base are too tight then they are likely too snap. Likewise if Heath are too loose then they can fold in while you are riding.

:pout::rant:The OEM mirror has a plastic cover over the allen bolt-it fooled me into thinking it was a flat non adj bolt-shit I would have loosened it a long time ago if I knew that, It was way too tight. Well I will loosen up the OEM left mirror. Dam that plastic cover cost me the whole mirror. Dam Honda for being so Perfect.
