    Hi all.

Just joined the forum as I have bought a 2000 VFR800 from ebay. I should be picking it up next weekend, can't wait!!

I haven't ridden for about 6 years so this seemed like a good all rounder to get back into biking with, and I'll be doing a few long weekend breaks with the girlfriend on the back so wanted something comfortable. I'll be doing a refresher course to brush up before I pick it up though!

    Pics to follow...

Nice bike...although I could do without the red on yellow. It'll be known it's yours, though...

    Welcome to vfrworld.

    Thanks.

I must say if I could change one thing I would get rid of those big red VFR's at the front end. Ah well.

It's in perfect condition, got 29 000 miles on the clock and is coming with a decent end can too, which I will fit at some point. All came in for £1900, so I'm happy.

might be able to remove them gently with a heat gun. Just need to make sure they are on top of the clear and not under. Personally I think it looks great and the decals might grow on you after a bit. I'm a huge fan :cheer2: of the yellow.

How come it doesn't have one of those massive number plates on the back?

I think he's referring to those Massive UK license plates on cars.

Congrats and welcome to the site. Nice bike. Yes, loose the red letter up front. But I bet Prince Harry will want one too.

    Clancey:

Congrats and welcome to the site. To quote your country's "Motorcycle News":

"The Honda VFR800i is the best version of the best motorcycle ever built according to some."

While I'm not ready to trade you my red '07, we can certainly agree you got a great riding, great looking bike at a darn good price. I bet you're going to LOVE it.

    Ride safely, have fun
