My New Best Friend

I was heading out to work this morning when I noticed a new bike parked in the street 2 doors up from my house. My fairly new neighbour has sold his Harley and bought a new VFR1200:VFR1200F::dance:

So how do I approach the subject of 'gimmie a ride' :vtr2:

I reckon a six pack of beer and a hello

Any suggestions that I might use??

 

A cashiers check for 13K?

Tell him you want to ride his bike so you can tell everyone how great it is...and hope he has a big EGO. :vanity:

I reckon that would work

 

I would take him an offering, say, the two chickens you scooped on the side of the road and your Red 00 and chat him up. If he know's what he's riding and didn't just go into the dealership with a 'oye, thas a mighty nice bike aye mate, I'll take ah' then they will know that you are a fellow Viffer. And, AND, you can tell him how many friends you have on a forum dedicated to the love of the VFR.

 

ask him to go for a ride with you, I bet at some point you two can trade bikes for a few miles.

 

I'll try the old lady swap first. If that doesnt work, I'll try this idea.

Beer could not hurt.......Would work on me......wife, sister, beer.......done deal.Hell keep the damn bike.

 

Send pic of beer, going to sign papers on 1200 in the morning. Will pm deatails for beer delivery, draw me a picture of wife and sister please, crayons will be just fine.Thanks. Enjoy the bike.

I ran into a guy on a 7th gen and he asked me if he could ride my 6th gen cause the 7th was the only VFR he has ever ridden.
So again just ask him if he wants to ride w/ you for a day and it will happen.
New owners always want to ride a different bike to compair.
