100_0133.JPG Finally got everything going, last thing a new key after finding the code and going to my local Honda dealer....

My current ride is a 2001 SV650S that I've put 50K miles on since I bought it in 2004. I also owned a new GSXR1000 for a year/10K miles so I can appreciate a "vintage" crotch rocket.(haven't been on ore with traction control etc.)

I only rode it about 50 miles. Tried my close-by twisty road and the interstate. I absolutely love it. For me at 72 it's about idea. Handles better than the SV but the VFR only has 26K on it and the SV's suspension is pretty wiped out. The Honda is a bit rough, I feel every bump, that is a ? but overall it's still OK. The VFR has ample power for me and lack of the excitement factor has been my main compliant on the SV650. After the GSXR1000 the SV has been tame. The VFR has brought back at least some of the rush.

    I'm only sorry I didn't discover this $350 Honda 10-15 years ago:D

Made that front fairing behind the wheel out of Aluminum today. Saved the $38 they wanted for a busted one on Ebay. Marcia is at a horse show this weekend and I have to stay home with her mom so I'm missing a couple decent days. Nurse is coming in the morning so I can go to church so maybe I can ride?

    Thanks,

    Jack
